Hi, The scenario is, I have to create a console application which is doing some calculation. Now I have another console application which is used to stop, pause and run the first console application. When I stop or pause the first console application through the second console application it will store the data into a file. Can anyone let me know how to achieve this? :confused:

Why do you need two console apps ? Sounds like a homework task to me. I suspect you want to use WCF, if it''s possible to use it in a console app, otherwise you''d have to use one of the mechanisms that WCF encapsulates directly.
