I want to download multiple files from a grid by selecting them using check boxes. Then to select location a control similar to Fileupload control is needed. After selecting the location when i click a button the download should begin. Any one got code for that??

The short answer is that I don''t think you can. The browser (and user preferences) are going to decide where that file ends up.

One think you *could* do is have the user check multiple boxes and have a button that takes the user to another page (or postback to the same page) for a single download link of a zip file. That zip file will contain all of the checked files.

So now the question really becomes "how do I create a zip file for download."

Seems like there is a good tutorial about it Here. Just ignore the uploading and database part.
