Hi everybody,
I want to send email from my windows application and i used system.net.mail, but i got "operation is timeout" error.Please help me solve this, and also i have a doubt that we have to install IIS on the system for using system.net.mail, so please help me for solving this.

Seems that your SMTP address is not correcct, your code is throwing timeout error while resolving the SMTP server.

I don''t think that IIS is required in you local sytem.
