Can anybody upload their StartPage.xaml code so I can just re-create the file?


I have installed Visual Studio 2010 Professional RC edition released February 10th or so. There are a lot of internet articles describing how to customize the start page. Apparently, editing StartPage.xaml located in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\StartPages\en" will allow you to customize the start page. However, I have no StartPage.xaml in that directory. I only installed Visual Studio 2010 RC yesterday, and I used the same ISO released on Microsoft millions of people have used. Does anybody know why this might be happening?

Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.UI is not registered during installation. I too am looking for a solution to this short of removing the entire Studio and reloading it. I suspect it is because I had the Beta version on the PC before loading the RC. More to follow....

I did installed it, and got it there. There is a file StartPage.xaml in the same location you specify. Please recheck.
