There are lots of logical structures that are present when you see Database Architecture like tableSpaces, Schema etc.

But physically it will of course be stored in file system. The filename is defined when you actually create the database. It is a dbf file

DATAFILE '/u01/oracle/oradata/mynewdb/system01.dbf' SIZE 325M REUSE
...
