So, I asked a question about X programming - but how do I

(1) get an answer and then the next, and so on. (By email, i hope,
since i have no idea how to use the web-site to look-up my question and any answers!)

(2) I clicked on a small "suggestions?" to leave this text, but,
suggestions was not about making a suggestion or asking about answers
itself. It was some kind of report on bugs - but no ovious way for me
to talk to you.

- Oh, now i see something called "my posts" - I''ll try it.
-- Ok, that''s it - no answers though.

but how do you know it''s me? (cookies, i guess,
but that''s not portable to other machines. Is there an obvious login
in a green box. No. Why not? - and by the way,
what''s my name and password? I cannot recall. Can you find a
way to solve this ubiquious problem?

P.S. ''submitting'' get an error "at least one tag must be
selected" - so i put ''answers'' it was not accepted, so I put linux.
Not kosher, but what''s up with this tags restriction, and what are
legal tags anyway?

Most people tell their browser to remember them and/or write it down or use the one password for all accounts that are at the same level of security needs.

This post looks like it belongs in the site suggestions to me, or perhaps the lounge, if you want to discuss how to use the site properly. Legal tags are tags that would be used to identify the classification of a programming question, which is what this forum is for.

Well, I''m speechless. You don''t know how to explore a website ? You''ll be sent an email to the address you gave, if someone replies. You can click on your name and from there look at the history of your posts. I think you can mark some threads as favourites, but I''ve never used that part of the site.

If you have a new question, you ask it as a new question.

Any post to the suggestions forum, which includes bug reports, gets emailed to Chris, the owner of this site. The odds of him reading it in here, are close to zero, I would expect.
