To the OP - Movie maker is totally irrelevant, it is not what runs videos in IE or in Opera. IE will know how to run Windows Media Player, or, more to the point, it will know how to use the HTML that I assume you wrote to embed it. Opera does not support this. To put videos in a webpage across browsers, your best bet is to encode them so a flash movie player can play them.

You should post the code that you use to play a video, as well as the exact error message. When you get this message, does it ask you to install something ? Do you do what it asks ?
