I would like to design inventory system for our school, wondering if any one can help me perhaps i don''t know how to start, i have a knowledge of ASP.NET, ADO.NET, mySQL and php. I got a couple questions blazing regarding this 1. can i get any open source software with source code( so that i can customize/alter according our needs) ? 2. Should i start from scratch ? if so what are the steps i need to follow in order to generate our system ?Any help greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
