Storing info in a table, is totally unrelated to your first question, and is so basic that my best advice is to buy a basic book and read it. You can''t send information to a user, you have to send it to the server and send it to the user when that users machine makes an AJAX call.

Your best bet IMO is to grab a sample off the web and read through it carefully so that you understand how it works.
