I've been having a nightmare with Magento 2 installation on shared server. The thing is that I don't have problems with shared server. I can get as much resources and config as Magento needs.

I did install it on localhost with no issues. But can't get it work on Shared Hosting.

In my case, it is about timeout issue.

1. 删除var/.maintenance.flag
2. 删除app/etc/config.php& env.php
3. 清理数据库.
4. 在php.ini中，设置max_execution_time=500
5. 再次运行yourmagento.com

1. remove var/.maintenance.flag
2. remove app/etc/config.php & env.php
3. cleanup you DB.
4. in php.ini, set max_execution_time=500
5. run yourmagento.com again
