Hello I'm making a custom UITextField like so :

_textField.borderStyle=UITextBorderStyleNone;
_textField.backgroundColor = _color;
_textField.layer.borderColor = [[UIColor grayColor]CGColor];

_textField.layer.cornerRadius = 8.0f;
_textField.font = [UIFont systemFontOfSize:14];
