It appears that the XULRunner 7 installer not only adds files to the /Library/Frameworks folder, but also adds to /private

Specifically, I had to manually delete...

/private/var/db/receipts/org.mozilla.xulrunner.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/org.mozilla.xulrunner.plist
