Edit ipython_notebook_config.py file, search for line

#c.NotebookApp.browser =''

webbrowser.register('firefox', None, webbrowser.GenericBrowser('C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe'))
c.NotebookApp.browser = 'firefox'
