You can pivot the data like this in any version of Oracle.

SELECT id,
       MAX( CASE WHEN key = 'name' THEN value ELSE null END ) name,

       MAX( CASE WHEN key = 'awesomeness' THEN value ELSE null END ) awesomeness
  FROM facts
