    Type mytype = typeof (int);

    Type listGenericType = typeof (List<>);

    Type list = listGenericType.MakeGenericType(mytype);

    ConstructorInfo ci = list.GetConstructor(new Type[] {});

    List<int> listInt = (List<int>)ci.Invoke(new object[] {});
