I was able to successfully install workflow manager on my dev environment and it works. I did have a few questions before installing on production though.

1) For the certificate, is this just an export of the SharePoint site's https cert?

2) For the PowerShell command to register the workflow service, would below command be correct? (I will be using the default ports during the configuration of workflow manager)

Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite "https://site.companyname.com" -WorkflowHostUri "https://site.companyname.com:12291"

1) Which certificate? WFM can have up to 5 depending on your requirements.

2) No, the WorkflowHostUri should be the WFM URI not a URI that is part of a SharePoint site.
