如果您使用系统帐户，则工作流程不会自动启动项目创建， 你
需要运行 

STSADM。 exe -o setproperty -propertyname declarativeworkflowautostartonemailenabled -propertyvalue yes

Hey

I have created a field in Document list ( Document library) which is Approver and set it as required so that the approver can approve when a new document is uploaded in the document library. I used a custom workflow using SharePoint designer 2013 but the problem is the workflow is not working when it is set as start workflow automatically when an item is created it doesn`t even take the value which is given in the Approver field. Where as it works well when it is set to start workflow manually and when Item is changed.

Can I know why this is happening and how to resolve?

Hi,

If you use System Account then workflow will not auto start on Item Create , You need to run the 

stsadm.exe –o setproperty –propertyname declarativeworkflowautostartonemailenabled –propertyvalue yes
