I came across this page when I am searching for Windows Vista SP2 beta, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/downloads/details/default.aspx?pm=p:164 , it appears like the old msdn/technet but there are much more new stuff there.  More than a whole week it is now since the betas of Windows Vista/Server 2008 SP2 were first released there, and I still cannot find any way to download off my MSDN downloads.

Everytime I entered the Windows Live ID/pass to get logon to that page, it automatically send me back to here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/securedownloads/default.aspx , a normal download page that contains no beta at all. It seems https version of software downloads doesn't allow any betas exist.

Is there anything wrong with my subscription? I am quite new to MSDN and not own any clue on how it works. I have Premium access, so do I have legitimate access to those betas like Vista SP2?

Thanks for becoming a subscriber!  To answer some of your questions, there are no special permissions needed to download Betas from MSDN Subscriber Downloads.   As a premium Subscriber, you have access to a broad range of products, and MSDN typically makes no distinction between products you have access to and betas of those products.  If you have access to SQL Server from MSDN Subscriptions, its a safe bet you'll have access to SQL Betas that we post as well.

Regarding Vista Service Pack 2 Beta, after searching, it doesn't appear that Vista SP2 Beta is available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads.   

I found a Post on the Windows Vista Team Blog that says "we're going to start by providing a small group of Technology Adoption Program customers with Windows Vista SP2 Beta for evaluation," so it may be that Vista SP2 Beta is still in a very limited release state. 

I'll ask around internally and see if there's any more information I can share.
