I cannot seem to clarify this.

I need to use a MS SQL Server database to potentially track licensing keys for my software.

I am just starting out in this software endeavour.

I intend to host this license tracking database on a windows OS host such as Go Daddy.

Am I allowed to use the developer license to create a database, upload it on the host server and maintain and develop it from my local computer.

Does the developer license allow me to do this?

The other option I guess is SQL Server Express.

Its seems like a lot of money to pay 2800 USD for a standard SQL server license if I am a one man operation, especially when compared to VS.
