I am trying to set up a workflow using SharePoint Designer on a content type in a document library whereby I want the document owner to be sent a task to review the document if review date has passed.

'last reviewed date' (ideally this would be updated by workflow once task completed, but happy for it to be done manually by owner),

If the value in the 'review overdue' column is 'Yes' and the value in the 'is document live' column is 'yes', then owner should be sent a task to review document.  If neither of these conditions are true, then no action (i.e document must still be in use and the review overdue in order for the owner to be sent a task to review). I would ideally like the document owner to be reminded of their task weekly, until the 'review overdue' column displays no.

Hi Hannah- yes you can do that. You need to set conditions (IF statements) and create an action for each, depending on the values.

For the weekly reminders, you can use a wait action and set the duration. Have this run in a loop until the column = no.
