I setup a very simple database for a client, it has only one table. I have startup options set to open straight to the Switchboard, so users only see the Switchboard menu. The database has 3 reports which were also on the switchboard menu and a form to enter data. I can open the database from 10 different computers, but on one of my client''s machines, the database doesn''t open to the switchboard, although If I hold the shift key down on this machine I can then open the database and open the forms, and open the reports, but if I try to open the switchboard I get the following error "Run-Time Error 430
"Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface"
So apparently my problem on this one computer is something related to the switchboard. I have already tried regserv32 and several dll''s, and checked the mdac, it''s 2.8.
I''m really confused why my database will open on every machine I''ve tried except for this one machine, It is a New Computer running XP Media center edition-Nearly new, no junk loaded.
I''m using Access 2002.

The office versions are the same on all of the PC''s of my client, all 4 machines were installed around the same time, almost identical. It''s only one machien that will not open the form and go straight to the switchboard, although this same computer will open the database by holding the shift key.. then when I manually open the switchboard, it gives the 430 error mentioned above.. So I assume the problem is in the switchboard, it''s the default switchboard, no sub menus or anything. the database only has about 8 fields.
