Sorry, don''t know jack about UACs or Vista, except to stay away from Vista! I never ever use the current version of Windows!
I agree, there are times when using SendKeys seems like the only solution to a problem, but exactly what are you using them for here? Perhaps someone here can provide a better method for you to get the job done!

Linq ;0)>I agree about Vista, but some of my clients already do have it, so I have to keep up :)
I use SendKeys in two occasions.
1. SendKeys "+^({UP})", SendKeys "+^({DOWN})" - to expand \ collapse subdatasheet.
2. SendKeys "{F5}" - to enter report page counter, as a part of custom PageUp \ PageDown precedure for reports.
Although using SendKeys is not critical for my application, the question is still: what else can go wrong ?
I would like to know what can''t be achieved from VBA that the SendKeys can.
Haven''t run into such a situation yet. The disadvantage, when a user triggers another application and losing the SendKeys, is too "heavy" for me.
