We want to make an android app in which we will give user a random word. And user have to give the homophone of that word. App will check whether the answer is correct or wrong and will tell the user. But we are not getting how to do it? so please any suggestions?

No matter which way you produce the application, you'll be needing the Java Speech API[^] to work with these words, phonetics etc; because you're going to be using the phonetics based engine to check whether the words are similar in their sound or not.
