But I like STRONGLY recommend to read any books related to developing. Because if you pass an interview or not you always need to enhance your knowledge.

According to my experience, Before you going to the interview you should know what areas they will be expecting from you. Before you apply you knows what areas of .net that you have knowledge, and what they expecting. For example, if they are expecting asp.net, Javascript + wcf then you need to have more focus on that areas and search for knowledge based articles and interview questions related. Plus you need to have basic knowledge like OOP and Database technologies.
