I would like to use QR scanning to open up folders.
My company manufactures steam turbine blades made of steel. We have a Laser engraver capable of putting QR codes on the steel parts, however, I would need the scan to open the parts contract folder. The folders are all offline, and I would be scanning from the computer that contains the folders.

The folder contain the CAD models (solidworks files), inspection sheets (excel) and engineering drawings (PDF's)

these blades are made in batches of around 150 each, and all 150 pieces fall under the same contract number. so I would engrave the QR scan and the part number.

Can QR codes be used in this way? To open the folders that is.
