i have recently upgraded to windows 8 and i have chosen to keep all files and folders option while installing all files and folders are like same in windows7(previous). but now i can't open sqlconfiguration manager in windows 8 it is not available now why?and how to solve?

Because SQL Server Configuration Manager is a snap-in for the Microsoft Management Console program and not a stand-alone program, SQL Server Configuration Manager not does not appear as an application when running Windows 8.
