Our virtual machine was stopped by low credits. It is now running after top-up. But it lost a data disk. How to get back the data disk?

解决方案

What drive letter was the data disk? If you were using the D Drive (aka the temp drive) after a VM is stopped and started that disk is replaced with a new one and there is no way to recover the data.

If it was a disk you attached, check the Disk management pane inside the VM to see if the disk is no longer online. You can also check the Azure Portal to find the disk and reattach if needed.
