I need to create 2 separate fields that are auto-populated whenever a user creates a new form. These fields also need to have the ability to be manually overwritten by the user (therefore calculated columns won't work). The fields I need to be auto-populated are below:

1) Order Date - This needs to be populated with Today's date (I can do this by creating a date field and setting default to 'Today's Date'.

2) Order Time - This needs to be populated with the exact time the user clicks on 'New Form' in the format of hh:mm:ss.

For Order Date column, as you said create a date filed and set default to 'Today's Date'.
