I have a synology DS918+. The NAS has a folder where i store SQL scripts. The folder is mapped to a drive on my pc using WebDAV (I have a WebDAV server running on the NAS). Each time I run a SQL file located on the mapped drive in SQL Server Management Studio, a backup file of the script is created in the same mapped folder. The backup file always has the same length and a tilde at the end (example: b5xavtll.scf~). This gets pretty annoying. If i run a script 50 times, 50 backup files would get created.
