I am not able to make live connection to SSAS tabular model deployed on SQL Server 2019 (CTP 2.5). It is giving error message "the server you are trying to connect to doesn't have any models". Does SSAS Tabular 2019 (CTP 2.5) support live connection ?

According to your description, it seems that you don't have permission to access that model. Did you get below error?

 您需要让您在服务器中拥有模型，并且您需要在相应的模型中授予权限，如下所示，以确定它是否有效 

 You need to make you have model in server and you need to grant permission in corresponding model like below to see whether it works or not
