As the title states, I was robbed today and both my phone and my PC got stolen, thus I need help recovering my outlook account. I always kept logged in those that phone and PC because they were my personal devices and I didn't like typing passwords every time, and with time I forgot my password. I used Microsoft Authenticator in my android device when I needed to access to my microsoft account from a PC in my college or in my office, for example. Now that this has happened I'm locked out from my account. However, I do have access to my other account where the password recovery system sends the verification codes, though it keeps asking for the confirmation from the Microsoft Authenticator app which I no longer have access to. I need help. I need to recover my account, I need to change passwords in order to restrict access to my things to the thieves or whomever has my doomed PC.

We are sorry that this happened with you . At this point from security perspective , I am not sure how exactly you can completely recover the account , however I can try to give you some pointers .

If you ever saved your username and password within any browser like Edge, Chrome or Firefox and were using the "settings sync" feature within them then you could install the browser on any new computer and sign in to the browser sync to retrieve any saved passwords . Try to access the Microsoft account security settings and see if that works.

If you have any other trusted device where you have set the option to not ask 2nd factor authentication and have saved username password or used the Windows Mail program to access the outlook.com mails then you can use the mail to access the account recovery page and disable the authenticator . If you have your phone number added to your Microsoft account then you may be able to use that using account recovery depending upon the settings you has setup for securing your account on the first place.
