I'm very new to SharePoint and just inherited a 2013 farm. The problem is that one of the servers in the farm is showing as installation is required for two KBs. This doesn't make sense to me because I thought all the other servers that have the KBs installed should be sitting in a state waiting for me to run the product configuration on them. They are on in that state. They report as up to date. I further thought you could only run the product configuration once the KBs had been installed on all the servers. I'm I missing something or is my farm in a state that shouldn't be possible? Also knowing that the farm is in this state can I just install the KBs on the one server and run the configuration or once I once I install the KBs on the one server with the rest of the farm think it is behind and require the KBs to be reinstalled? Any insight would be much appreciated.
