have created a storage acount v1, created a new share, uploaded some file into it, copied the drive mounting script generated from azure , run it in power shell, it returned with error, access denied. have no much idea here as i am new to this, any other way to mount the azure drive? any help will be much apprecaited.

You can create Azure File shares using the Azure portal, the Azure Storage PowerShell cmdlets, the Azure Storage client libraries, or the Azure Storage REST API. In this tutorial, you will learn: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/storage-how-to-create-file-share

For the credentials, I assume you're using the storage account name and key, and not the username and password of the account you're using to log into the VM. Is that right?

Also, remember that port 445 must be open. If you're trying it inside of Azure, it should work (depending on the region and OS version). From home, you must make sure your firewall allows traffic across port 445 and your ISP. For example, my ISP (Comcast) does not, so there's no chance I can mount an Azure File Share on my desktop.
