I am working on creating a IIS fail-over environment using Azure VMs and  Azure file share. I was able to save the credentials for my user account using the directions in this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/storage-how-to-use-files-windows#persisting-azure-file-share-credentials-in-windows

But I am unable to save credentials for the service account using the PS commands described in this link

Hi Norman,

Have you logged into the service account as described? The -LoadUserProfile is pretty important to include on that cmdlet. You might also try logging into the service account with runas...
