We have an enterprise wiki site collection inside sharepoint on-premises 2013. the Pages library have around 2,800 wiki pages. now i want to give each wiki page a unique number and to benefit from the built-in ID number as follow Tracking-[ID].

So i am trying to benefit from using the Calculated columns, so inside the Enterprise wiki content type i created a new calculated column as follow:-

but for all the current wiki pages and for any new wiki page, the itemnumber will be displayed as 0, as follow:-

now i know that the ID inside the calculated columns will not work when we first create an item/page, but in my case i tried to edit existing wiki pages and create new ones and then edit them ,, but this did not work..

I did a few tests on the calculated fields on my online site.

It is strange. The calculated field is only updated only when I modified the calculated field setting.
