I'm trying to add a custom domain to a web app, but it fails with an error that the domain is already added to the (same) web app. It's a domain with the Danish letter 'æ'.

A similar, custom domain is already added, with an 'a', and with an 'ae'. But the one with 'æ' is not on the list of added domains.

• Configure the domain to your app, see how to map an existing domain .
• If you added an A record , make sure a TXT record is also added. For more details , see here
• The browser client might still be caching the old IP address for your domain. Clear the cache by running the command  ipconfig /flushdns . Verify your domain is pointing to the web app IP address using WhatsmyDNS.net .
