I am running into an issue where a batch of jobs are all clustered around a 5 minute window. The easiest solution that comes to mind with everything considered is to either resize the VM permanently higher or workout someway to rapidly scale the VM up and down.

I'm unable to stop and start the VM to manually resize the VM as I have workloads already operating. Would somebody be able to point me in the right direction please if this possible?

P.S: I only need to go from 2vcpus/8gbRAM to 4vcpus/16gbRAM
