So I have two SharePoint Lists. One is old and one is new. On the old one we had Service Requests that ended with 439. On the new SharePoint list we want the numbers to continue where the old one left off, which is at 439. The new list starts at 1. The ID field is disabled so the user does not see it and it just generates the next number once the form is submitted. I have tried to set the default value but it just uses the same number over and over when you set the default. Is there a way to set the ID field to start auto generating numbers at 439 instead of 1? I am a newbie at SP and Infopath.

So only thing you can do , insert 439 dummy items in your list and delete it using powershell. so on next item ID would be 440 and it will get increment on each item insert.
