Our client is going to publish 837 document via AS2 and requires us to publish synchronous mdn to them. On our side of things, our infrastructure team wants BizTalk to communicate with outside vendors via proxy server. This means receiving receiving edi documents and publishing acknowledgements as well as mdn via the proxy server. I just don't think synchronous mdn can be published with proxy server in between BizTalk and the vendors. Has anyone here faced this issue and how did you solve it ?

If it doesn't work, it's because the Infrastructure Team made it not work so it's their problem to fix.

In other words, it can work and it's not you problem if it doesn't. :)
