I am getting an issue in Silverlight application, i added a website in compatability view in IE browser , then i try to launch the application then IE version is automatically going to 7 Version.

Could anyone help me , do we have any way to set default  IE  version from silverlight code or any other way.

Please suggest me on this issue.

Hi PVR,

I get the same result if I add my Silverlight web application into IE compatibility view.

If you want the default mode is IE 11, we need to assign it in the .aspx page with following code.

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE11" />
