My laptop is Windows 8.1 Pro. I knew that Windows 8 has hyper-v feature that we can make virtual PC. I did that succussfully. I want to instal windows 2012 server there for my practice. Can it be done?

My LAPTOP meets all hardware requirements for Windows 2012 server. What are other ways to create one or two virtual PC and run Windows 2012 therein.

Hi Mike, i understand that you are tryibg to virtualize one or two WServer 2012 on your laptop.

If the laptop have installed w8 or w8.1 it can be done throught Hyper-v Role

As alternative you can use third parts products such as VMWare workstation at least 9.0, but i would reccomend Hyper-v of course.
