If you have been experiencing this issue lately(say in the last 1-2 days) then I would suggest you to follow these steps:

Go Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

Once in here, on the Left hand side of the panel, there will be a blue link, System Restore Settings; click on it and make sure that the box Turn off System Restore on all Drives is Unchecked, otherwise you do not have any System Restore points to fall back on.
Hopefully your System Restore is available, so in the main System Restore pane (on the right hand side), click Restore my computer to an earlier time; follow the on-screen prompts.

Choose a date before the problem started and restore your computer to that date. You would loose all your installed programs and windows updates that were installed after the chosen date.
