I have been struggling to get some files uploaded to my site recently, with difficulty and in some cases, impossibly.

I keep getting this message "OOPS: close(500)".

Does anyone understand this? What should I do to get past this and upload my webpages, please.

The above link refers to Frontpage, but the error seems to point to the same, or similar issue in EW that you are having.

It may not be altogether a problem with Expression Web.  You should also ask your hosting service if there has been issues with their servers.
