我认为最简单的方法是创建包含所需字段的PBI查询，然后在Excel中打开查询。工作项将在excel表中列出字段，然后您可以相应地打印它们。

Hi there,

I have got an question about reporting or the TFS Rest API. Which one to use is not so important. So here is what I want to do: I want to print a set of workitems (usually Product backlog items) on a sheet of paper, so I can give a handout to my team. My problem is that I don't know how to get some fields like the workitem description.

As I read it is not possible to make HTML fields reportable? If it is true, for my purpose it does not matter, but then I need to query these data using the TFS Rest API. But in the API, the fields are excluded from the result. Does anyone know the reason? It would be pretty helpful, if someone could suggest me any solution, eighter using the reporting or the REST Api.

Thank you for posting here.

I think the simplest way is creating a PBI query with the needed fields included, and then open the query in Excel. The work items will list in excel sheet with the fields, then you can print them accordingly.

However you can also use the REST API to get the files contents for the specific work item then export to CSV file, below PowerShell script for your reference:
