I have an issue I have never seen before - I created a fairly large MS Project timetable using Project 2007 (Windows 10) and am creating 30 or so individual projects in one file - each one with indented subtasks down 4 or 5 levels.    Usually these individual projects are rolled up but when I expand individual projects some of the task descriptions gets wiped out but not on all tasks and not all the time.  The content that is erased seem to be the task description only - You can see the outline of activities, the task bars are still there but the description is erased.  This has shaken my management's confidence in using Project.  There is no way to recover the file and I have to go back to an earlier saved copy to get back the content that has been erased.  Anybody else have this issue and how do I go about getting it resolved? I had the same issue, even worse. I had created a large project in Project Online with multiple subprojects (so, tasks rolled up under each subproject heading), saving it many times as I went. I checked it in, and when I reopened it, ALL 50+ tasks were gone. Since that was the first time I checked it in, I don't think there is any way of recovering. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know. I was using only the browser interface the entire time.
