I've managed to get into the device after a couple of weeks of trial and error using the windows metro app sample, now the trick is that I can't see its services, when I issue the line:

hrmService = device.services [0];

hrmService = device.services[0];

The index is non-existent, in fact, the variable device is pretty much an empty object.

I'm not sure if I have to do anything on the C++ side ?

I see this behavior when I forget to declare the proper capabilities in the app manifest.
