When trying to watch sky sports on my Acer laptop with Windows 10, I receive the message 'apologies this item has been interrupted  due to an error (6030)'. I have followed previous suggestions and have renamed mspr.hds as mspr.hds.OLD, but it doesn't solve the problem. I get the same message When I repeat the process there is a new mspr.hds, and the one i changed to OLD is still there with the added 'OLD'.

I also receive a message asking me to update my language and time settings. I have done this and everything is up to date, but the message keeps cropping up.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Please confirm you have closed your browser before you do above steps. And also have clean Application Storage caches from Silverlight Configuration window.

Which version of Silverlight do you use? The latest version should be version 5.1.50901.0. If not, please download and install the latest version from official site.

And please open following Silverlight demo to check whether the demo could display successful. If it could display successful, it means the issue is not related to Silverlight. Please contact the Sky Go supporter to submit this issue.

If the Silverlight demo also has this issue, I suggest you uninstall and reinstall Silverlight referring to following document.
