Hello Friends,

I currently working in a service solution for a client. My plan is use Azure Stack for storage, users management and Data Governance, and Azure Batch for parallel computing. I know that Azure Batch is currently unavailable in Azure stack, but is there a possibility to storage all the code and required resources for the Batch jobs within Azure Stack, including the data to be processed, and use azure batch to parallelize the jobs? Also can I save the output files in Azure Stack?

It is unlikely that Azure Batch will work for an Azure Stack storage account, and that scenario would not be supported, but it might be possible. There is no dependency upon the region of a storage account for Azure Batch, but it does need to be in the same subscription, which is not possible with Azure Stack. 

You should be able to upload data from Azure Stack to Azure using AZCopy as needed to process and retrieve data.
