Recieved this error from a program that was developed and compiled on one machine and and ran properly on that one but when moving the executable to another machine the sxs error comes up.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question as I am also looking for answer to this error. I have a similar situation where it runs on one machine, but not another. I can see that ver 8.0.50727.6195 is on the machine where my app runs and is not on the machine where it doesn't run. What I can't find is the redist that installs ver 8.0.50727.6195. Any ideas on how to find this redist installer? I have already been to MS download and downloaded both the VC 2005 and VC 2005 SP!. Neither of those installs that ver.
