I have read all I can find about creating one's customized the fluent  ribbon -- It all has to do with one's OWN ribbon.

I fail to find (or maybe understand) how to manipulate the built-in ribbon.
Is there anyway to enable/disable some of the built-in ribbon? Or, where is the XML file for the default ribbon?


Can anyone point me to the right place where I can read how?

you can change the enable/disable existing controls on ribbon UI.

to do that, you can make use of idMso attribute in ribbon xml. Refer below xml, that hides the Create tab of Access. (Notice the idMso, that comes from the list of controls
